Day 65 *yawn*

It has been a hectic few days, and there'll be a few more of them to come I'll assure you! But yesterday and today have been good days none the less. The revision for my exams is picking up momentum and seeming like an easier task all the time. And a very positive note, we had a good game of football(soccer) yesterday. It was our best game of the year in terms of our performance and on a personal note...I scored! A cracker if I say so myself. It was my first goal of the year and a good feeling. Unfortunately, they scored in the last minute to seal victory, 2-1. We have a few more games to come, and we're looking to rack up some victories.

On yet another positive note, a friend of mine has invited me to the Ireland vs New Zealand All blacks on saturday! Ireland have amassed a good team over the last two years, however the All Blacks are the worlds best team by a distance. It should be a sell out at Irelands new national stadium and I'm excited, very excited!

On a PCP note, theres nothing new really to report. My rope broke the other day and I got myself a new one. My old one was a weighted rope which helped the turnover of jumps. But the new one is a lot lighter and will take some getting used to. The new diet on the other hand is great, more carbs and fruit than ever before (well, on the PCP anyway!). Every day that goes by it becomes tantalisingly close to the finish, I've never felt so determined to get through something in my life and I aim to finish strong!

One final thing, Patricks comment about a cold winter, I actually have noticed that I'm feeling the cold a lot more, I'd make a pretty bad seal thats for sure!

See you upon the moro!

  1. Yep, and you're only going to get colder. Wear layers. You've essentially taken off a sweater of fat that you used to wear 24 hours a day every day. So you'll need to wear an extra layer or something to compensate for that.

  2. Oh man, I feel you with the cold and the new rope. I'm glad you're staying so positive, thanks for the uplifting posts. Our team seems scattered in motivation, but way to keep it strong. And congrats on the goal.
